Greetings to Everyone!! Tennessee is celebrating its tenth convention this July and we really want to have a huge showing for our celebration bash! We hope you are planning to come. The convention "Ten in Tennessee" will be held in Greeneville, Tennessee July 14-17, 2010 and will be filled with 4 days of weaving and 47 classes being offered for your selection. I plan to mail the convention materials out the last of February to all current members. Just in case you forgot to renew your dues at convention last year or in the months since then, please make sure you get your dues in to Diane Thompson ASAP so that you don't miss out on the convention mailing and can make the first day deadline for registration. If you need a form, check out the section on our web page entitled TBA forms. As a special bonus this year, we will be mailing out a history of our first ten years with our membership booklet late March. We know you want to be included. We are looking forward to seeing you in Greeneville. Take care and stay warm. Pam Parman, TBA President
The purpose of our association is to perpetuate the art and craft of basket weaving and to support, nurture, and encourage the increase of knowledge of, and skill in all facets of creating quality baskets, either traditional or contemporary.
